The Posture Clinic has been in operation in Richmond Hill since 1993. Headed by Dr. Guy Bahar, it is the realization of his vision for natural healthcare and the promotion of wellness in our community.


Dr. Guy Bahar, Bsc., D.C. is “The Posture Doc”

I am Doctor Guy Bahar, but most people know me as “The Posture Doc”. I have been a practicing chiropractor since my graduation from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992. When I started treating patients in the 90’s the most common postural problem that I saw in practice was the “sway back” and the most common condition that I treated was the lower back pain that accompanied it. By 2005 though I noticed a change. More and more, patients were coming to me with Forward Head Posture – their shoulders rounded, their head slumping forward over their chests and the typical health problems like headaches, upper back tension, shoulder pain & neck pain. They also were suffering from fatigue, mood disturbances and even breathing issues. I began a journey to discover why this posture had become so prevalent and how to treat it most effectively. The result is that in 2006 I shifted my general chiropractic practice over to focus primarily on the correction of poor posture – specifically Forward Head Posture.
